hmmmm, I have never seen this body and cartridge set-up...

Is this installed in a nursing home (I rulled out a hotel by the pictures) or is this a straight residental install?

As a first guess I agree with JC

this is located in a government apartment complex built in 1959 but the valves have been upgraded at some point in their life problem is mud tile on a double brick wall with about 4" between between the walls. other problem fed funding has been cut so they want to try to repair them instead of replacing them

That loop handle and the connection looks like Symmons to me. I have very little experience with them though.

Looks like the front end of a KN-4 cartridge but the back end does not look the same to me. Almost looks Delta-ish.

And some companies use many slightly different versions of some Chinese internals I've ran into. Check back daily. Some may have seen it before.

Try this place. I buy parts for obsolete Streamway faucets here.

Just from the loop style handle maybe a Grohe knockoff

                BigJim will know

Normally I do fairly well at playing "Stump the Chump."

But, this time you got me. Bill, you jinxed me!

I have no idea what this is. Perhaps a "hardware" brand.
Some after market companies like Sexauer and Plumbmaster made their
own stuff. But I don't think it's one of those two. I spent some time
going through some old catalogs with no joy. Sorry.

take the cartdridge into the couple local stores/ h.d. and lowes. it's probably a house brand and there are many knockoffs based off of the real brands.

the valve is mosrt likely a knock off of one.

My first guess was Nibco, but it just doesn't look right.

BTW, straighten that tub spout...it's driving me nuts.
