  • Water Softener reduces pressure?

So if I install a water softener, will I get a drop in water pressure and volume at the high-flow faucets like tubs, showers, and washing machine? I think my water is borderline hard, but I don't want to reduce my water pressure. Opinions?

Installing anything reduces flow to some degree. An extra elbow on the pipe would too.

A properly sized softener will minimize the loss.

Your options are live with what you got or accept a potential loss of flow.
