I have a Bosch, and it works well indoors.

I've had some trouble getting it work outdoors when it's bright out.

The Homealone Depot here has some WAY cheaper ones that have a few less features.... Depends on what your needs are.

            Re: Handheld Laser Distance Measurer

I’m just doing a side by side comparison on the hilti and the fluke and I noticed that the fluke is not recommended for colder than 0 °C and it doesn’t have an optical sight.
But is about half the price!

whereas the hilti is Hilti -10°c

Unfortunately I work it some pretty cold climates.

                Re: Handheld Laser Distance Measurer

The Bosch doesn't like being real cold either...

but most of my test equipment doesn't really like the weather here

Hi guys, just to throw in one from left side but I prefer the Leica Instruments. HTey are renowned for their accuracy and going with what Leicas business is they are pretty good at what they do. So good that I stupidly lent my first one, woth around $600-$700 au/dollars to a "friend" who has decided that as I cant remember which friend I lent it to he is going to keep it. What are friends for hey. I always live by the rule that you dont steal but others dont have this same constitution. Now I dont lend to just anyone anymore.
