  • best in unit heat for apt??

I'm renovated four 900 sq ft apartments in northern nj.

The heat loss of these places will be about 15 to 25k/but hr. I'm insolating with foam, plus all new windows, no exterior door exposure.

Can anyone suggest a wall hung boiler or tankless that could efficiently provide heat and hot water? (tenants bills in the building I live in now are 200 plus monthly for a bradford white or laar minitherm combi systems; plus, tanks in the apartment is a now a no go here in NJ). I was looking at Navien commercial condensing but horror stories galor online...

The other option is a central mod/con indirect for all apts, and I control the thermostat and charge for heat.

    Any recommendations?

I would use a Triangle Tube Excellence. It has heat and domestic in one. I have installed many of these units and have had no problems. One think to consider is the max gpm load on the domestic water. You may need to install a tanked water heater back-up after the boiler if your peak demands are excessive.
