  • Venting Basement Washroom

    Hi,.
I'm installing a Saniflo saniplus macerating/pumping toilet in the basement of my two storey home. I will also be connecting a bath tub and vanity sink to this pumping toilet. Can I vent this system through a vent connected to a vanity sink on the first floor?? I would be connecting to the vent at a level above the first floor sink's trap.

    Thanks!

You should be fine if you tie in the vent 6in. above the RIM of the sink.
