  • Galvanized Tee

Does anyone sell a galvanized tee fitting which is 3/4" at both ends and 1" in the middle. I have looked online as well as local stores and cannot find anything.

Yes it is called a "Bull Head Tee" and it is fairly common.

remember that the local retail diy store only stock the common stuff. the plumbing supply house is where you will find that tee.

I believe there is an H-D Supply in Scripps Ranch. They will likely have a $25 minimum and may ask if you are a Contractor. As an Engineer they should sell to you.

                    Re: Galvanized Tee

Thanks Mark - I will check that supply place. I guess they are associated with Whitecap where I have been buying stuff for the concrete part of the project. Some Sonotube I recently bought there had HD supply also stamped on it. Actually I'm okay with going to any part of SD to find supplies. There is very little available around the Scripps Ranch area. I recently visited a company to talk about a new design contract and there was a Ferguson plumbing supply place nearby and so stopped off and bought some of that pipe primer I needed. There seemed to have a good selection of fittings so I will stop by and take a look.

Rick - yes I see less activity on that thread . Actually I contacted one of our local plumbing inspectors who told me to use galvanized on the outside (above ground) for gas. Appreciate the offer to send me the tee - if I really cannot find it I will take you up on your offer.

I've completed all of the below ground and some of the interior pipe - I decided to do an intermidiate air pressure check and it held 10psi for 24 hours so I'm going to continue with the rest.
