I remember seeing this place on TV. Not what one would call traditional Chicago pizza. Pot pie pizza.

But I wanted to try it too!

I have been a Carm's Beef fan, the one on Wolf Road in Westmont. Then for breaded Steak sandwich its RicoBenies hands down on 26th street.

A place called Mickies had awesome Italian beef sandwiches. I think it was considered Bellwood or maybe it was in Hillside. Heck that was a long time ago maybe mickies wasn't the name

So. of Rt.19 and W. of Barrington rd.,think it was 26 shootings and stabbings in town last year, mostly in that area.Buona Beef on Irving Pk. closed,Portillos Beef is still open on Barrington in Streamwood, there was a little place on Irving in Streamwood past the bowling alley(can't remember it's name)that I think is still there,Lou Malnati's is still in Schaumburg at Roselle and Schaumburg rd. for deep dish pizza.

I agree with SewerRatz. I am a Gino's East guy. I really like the texture of the cornmeal crusts. Unfortunately I used up my last trip to Chicago on Giordanos... still great pizza but Gino's is still my favorite.
