  • Standpipe and Trap Plumbing code ?

HI! A plumber at home Depot mentioned something about the standpipe being recently update in the plumbing code, is this correct?

I am renovating a laundry in a building which is going to be fitted with two commercial washing machines and I need to know what height range the standpipe should be from the trap ( Min and Max from trap). and also need to know the distance ( Min and Max ) the trap should be from the floor.

I need the Canadian OR Quebec, Canada code if possible.

    I am using a 2 1/2 standpipe going into a 2" cast-iron stack. Pic included.

    I doubt that you're using a 2.5" standpipe into a 2" line, sorry.
