  • Clogged toliet

I have a downstairs bathroom, and when running sink for about 30 seconds, bubbles come up on the toliet. The toliet continues to clog, and I am having a hard time un-clogging. This is the only bathroom that has this problem. The washer drains fine, and all the other bathrooms and sinks drain fine. Can anyone suggest what to do??

    Thanks

What are you trying to unclog with? Plunger? auger? Have you pulled the toilet?

      Re: Clogged toliet

the line 3''-4'' line is clogged. if nothing else affects that toilet, then it's an isolated branch line. but make sure as you could flood the downstairs if it's a common line to upstairs.

i agree with rick and wrench spinner, you should pull the toilet and auger the line due to the partial, full blockage. i hope you get this situation solved before someone flushes and walks away and there is a pool in your basement.
