  • I have no Idea what's going on

I recently bought a SWP-500i for my bathroom downstairs.......i installed it as per the instruction. Now, when i flush the toilet the pump stays on until i unplug it and plug it back in..........what's going on. And, the water in the toilet bowl is dirty brown, also, when the pump first goes on, you can hear it sucking the water out of the shower drain.

Check for free movement of the float that operates the pump. Is it vented properly?

You need to call a licensed plumber.

      Good luck.

Hope not. Just based on what the person is saying it seemed the right answer.

Just look at the title of the thread!

I think jc is right on the money with his reply. Its a first time post just fishing for free info. Went to school for to many years and many more years exp on top of that to give step by step instructions to strangers just to show how much I know.Information shared between professionals about problems that we run into fine. But in the end we should point them in the direction of there local plumbing contractor for answers.Who is going to buy the cow when the milk is free.

I'd take an educated guess - but I'm unqualified.
