  • Hot Water Circulator

I presently heat my home with a coal stoker boiler that has a DHW coil in it. I would like to use a small circulator between the coil and my hot water tank along with an aquastat to furnish my hot water needs.
The question I have is which pump would be a better choice. The Taco 006 Bronze 1/40hp or the Grundfus Hot water circulator with a built-in timer and aquastat?
    Thanks
BTW I already have a tempering valve in place for safety.

i prefer the grundfos over the taco. also the pump is a bonus along with the stainless steel construction.

don't get me wrong. i also like taco when it comes to lunch

While bronze sounds good, the weakest link is what counts.

I run into & hear of quicker failures with Taco cartridges.
