Want to finish my basement bathroom. want to gain more space on the ceiling. I am thinking make a big change on the first-floor shower drain. Please have a look at the attached photos to see if it is a good idea or not.
without being there its hard to say but yes I do think what you are saying would work as long as you are not removeing a vent from any other fixture by the looks of the pics you gave I would say yes
Ok..so it looks like you are just removing the shower off the existing bathroom stack and tying into the stack on the other wall ..Yes as long as you are seperately venting the shower which looks like you will be doing..Are you done yet? Don't forget to post pics when you are done
