    Re: What Would You Do?

If they have money does not mean that they wast money,

I had a uncle right place at the right time, and had saved a considerable amount when he passed on,

He went through tough times and he continued to live like that the rest of his years, and saved ever thing,

even before recycling was popular, he would have his wife wash out the tin cans and would have her cut the bottom out of the can as well, place both the ends in side the can and step on it, and sell it for scrap metal, he would pull nails out of lumber and what he separated from his ashes, and would sell the nails as scrap,

He did not buy or do hardly anything that was not necessary, about the only weakness he had was for a car now and then, (not to often but ever 15 or 20 years) and they were top of the line).
YOU consider a Jaguar for a field car and to haul scrap iron in the trunk to Pueblo and sell it at the CF&I steel mill, as you were going to the state fair, wouldn't you all, he never had a pickup truck, between the 1 1/2 ton farm truck and his Jaguar it was all he needed, the chain saw would fit in the truck of the car as well,

and some have learned that that trip to town is expensive, cheaper to have some stocks at home, and if some thing does go down it will never be when stores are open,
