  • Name that Head?

I'm not too good at water softener ID & differences. Only a Fleck once in awhile and I'm not always sure then. Wondering if anyone could name this head and link any directions?

    Thanks.

Thanks. And I forgot to mention there is not a sticker, model number, name, nothing else on any part of it.

      I'll check there though.

      Thanks again.

It looks almost exactly like that one. Wondering if it's a generic Fleck or similar.

Got a manual link or PDF?

          Thanks.

It's been a very long time since I've seen a water softener head like that.

What do you see more commonly now?

                  Thanks.

We install the Autotrol 440i heads from Masters Water softener. (picture below)

The thing I like about Autotrol is...you can remove the head in seconds to send it out to get rebuilt, and softener is manually put in bypass mode in the meantime. Pulling the red clip in the picture you see...allows you to remove the head.

Our area is flooded with them or GE water softeners.

Very rare for me to see a fleck.

                      JC's valve is a Fleck 5600

Fleck distributed its valves to a lot of different manufacturers that put their own name's on them like Lancaster.

we mostly install Clack and then fleck

I've seen Lancaster in my area before, because they are not far from me. It seems Masters and Lancaster use the same mineral tanks, but not sure who makes them.

There's a half dozen companies making resin tanks. One of the big problems with conditioning equipment has always been product branding.
