  • Mom's bath faucet is dripping

I can't find a set screw or any way to get the handles off.
I can't find a brand name or I would have looked up a parts diagram.
Once I get into it, will I find a simple stem that just needs some new O rings?

I think it is a Kohler and the handles pull off. Proably a new cartridge, the ceramic one. Can't think of the part number.

I think its a Grohe. Those handle will straight off. Then go from there.

When Grohe first came to the USA, Kholer made a Tub/Shr valve for them. A basic track grade fixture.

This on the other hand is solid brass.

          Hmmmm.....BigJim, anything?

Don't remember seeing a pop-up rod from Grohe like that. Any picture of the drain assembly? Writing on the aerator?

I have 1 customer that I know of that has this faucet in Polish Brass, and I'm pretty confident it's a Kohler.

I had an old Gerber like that as I recall. Don't remember this handle shape on it though.

I'm thinking the part of the handle you touch is just a cover that snaps on and under it theres a screw that removes the rest of the handle.
Or was it Eljer? Duhhhh...... Took me awhile to find the stems.

My final answer is Kohler Provence faucet with Euro handles!

Christ..it took me 20 minutes to figure out the name...lol.

I can't find an old school exploded parts view on this faucet.

                          grohe 100%.

                          it's a 3 hole or 1 hole faucet.

chances are that's the older grohe stems with the rubber washer and not the newer ceramic stems.

handles are a straight pull off and they have a plastic spline insert.

                          grohe is pretty common here.

Rick I've seen Grohe like this and the handles too. But the Pop-up rod throws me. Sure it's Grohe? Looks like an older Kohler (late 80's-90's). No?

                              Thanks.
