  • Island Range

I need to run NG line under a slab about 8' to supply an island range on a remodel. I was thinking about using PE with two risers on each end coming up through the slab. After reading the code, looks like no PE pipe except outside and under ground. Any suggestions?

I can tell you exactly how to run it and it will pass your inspection with flying colors.
do you have the exterior wall opened up from bottom to top plates for the 3/4" vent to terminate overhead?
I will not explain over these readable boards.Too many ripoff people calling themselves contractors hurting our community.

You are welcome to PM me if you want.

A gas line underneath any part of a structure needs to be in a sleeve, sealed on the inboard end and vented on the other end.

I have to set the record straight here. "Dirtyhands" is the savy tradesman. Went out of his way to teach a rookie. I'll be buying his lunch at the next Long Beach trade show.
