  • Pex Manifold for Existing Branch System?

    Hellos,

My home currently has a traditional copper branch system. It seems like it is taking longer than it should for hot water to reach the guest bath on the second floor. Would installing a manifold in the basement do me any good besides centralizing the valves?

    Thanks for any feedback.

If you have a large copper line running from the hwt which branches off to each bathroom/fixture seems to me you would need to re-pipe in order to install a manifold which may help. Hard to say whthout lookin. Have you considered a circulation pump?
