  • Pressure Reducing Valve Tips

I'm purchasing a pressure reducing valve for my new DIY house. I'm planning to use 1" copper the short distance between the entrance and the water heater (hot) and the manifold (cold). My water company told me that it would be required. My Lowes has 1/2", 3/4" and 1". Any pointers for buying one of these? What should I be looking for? Thanks!
