  • Where is a good place to purchase larger sump basins?

Our current home has a pathetic 10.5"x10.5" pit which looks to be a typical orange chimney liner. Needless to say my selection of pumps has been limited due to the small, square size. We have a single line that empties into the pit from the exterior side of the basement wall.

Needless to say the pump kicks on and off extremely fast due to the lack of volume. My plan was to enlarge the existing pit, hopefully to something in the 24" range so I could have 2 pumps plus my battery backup which I already have (Basement Watchdog). Any recommendations on where to purchase a larger basin? Figured either a 24" or 30" deep.

    Thanks

Any pump distributor will have access to a variety of basin sizes, but the absolute mother lode is Topps Industries. They know tanks like Bubba knows shrimp.
