  • Do I need a vent for this garage utility sink pre-plumb?

My next home improvement project is to put in a utility sink for the garage (it's no fun cleaning painting equipment in the bathtub). Back when the house was being constructed, I had the builder put in water lines and drain for a future utility sink in the garage. The picture is what it looks like right now. The other picture is what it looks like at the pre-drywall stage. I don't see a vent line anywhere. Do I need a vent line for this sink? If so, how should I approach it? Thanks a lot!

The sink in question can be found at this URL.

The one thing I noticed about California Plumbers is, they Plumb in clean-outs for their sinks, and I like that idea. You never see that here in Pa. , but I made sure I put a clean-out under my kitchen sink, cause it's a pain in the butt always taking apart traps.

That is a vent going through the roof. Flux we put our clean outs above the San Tee. Makes no big difference under.
I can build anything You want , if you draw a picture of it , on the back of a big enough check .

Thanks everyone. I thought the line up to the roof is a drain for a sink on the 2nd floor. However, there is not a sink above that part of the garage.

Now I need to learn some basic plumbing skills for home owner!

Don't give us too much credit. On a kitchen or laundry sink co's are required.

Sell it as an upgrade on stoppage calls if you have room to fit a wye.
