  • Toilet dye

    I was thinking of trying dye in the toilet tank to look for leaks - is there a problem with staining? anybody have recommends?

    Food coloring is cheap and simple. Just don't spill and watch your hands.

    I use the blue fluidmaster pills and crush them so they dissolve instantly.

        I use potassium permanganate, its purple. Ran out of the fluidmaster pills years ago and needed some other parts and grabbed this jug. Been using it for years.

            I used Alcholic brand which is strong enough to kill all the things....
