Picked up a new one to replace one on a bradford white that was blowing off. the Mip length was shorter than the old one ! Made it work, though. did the supply grab one for a boiler ? Are boiler ones made shorter ! Thanks Tool
I can build anything You want , if you draw a picture of it , on the back of a big enough check .
they make 2 lengths. the standard and the extended. depending on the location and the r- value/ insulation thickness, will dictate the size. not uncommon for me to use the entended one now more than the standard.
i find that 95% of the time, the relief valve is the issue. not the pressure or temperature. only when the city pressure is approaching 150# and either the regulator is bad or there is no expansion tank do i find the 5% of the cases where the relief valve is functioning as designed.
