How is your experience in the use of anaerobic resins for tight treaded fittings ? ( like locktite ? )

I have never used anything like Loctite but I do use MagaLoc by Hercules and it does seal well.

i usually use real tuuf by hercules, sometimes a little teflon tape and a little real tuff combination and it guarantees no leak

Is this in regards to a potable water system? Is Locktite approved for use with drinking water?

I have only used anaerobic compounds a few times on high pressure propane systems.
Anaerobics are supposed to be the best thread sealants, with ratings up to 10,000psi and temps. of 300 to 400 F. Vibration resistant, able to adjust fittings with out causing leaks. But not compatible with all piping materials, and i don't know of any anaerobics that are code approved by IPC for potable water.
