  • Faucet extension to short

I am in the process of tiling my bath tub/ shower walls and now I find that my Price Pfister cartridge assembly (part that sticks out of the wall to attach the handles on) are 1 inch too short to attach the handle and fittings. The instructions say any where from 1-7/8" to 2-7/8" maximum (2-3/8 recommended) from valve center line to finished wall and now I am at almost 3.5 inches. Can anyone suggest a resolution?

Check with Price Pfister and see if they offer an extension for your valve set. If not you will have to reset your valve.
