  • Removing American Standard Faucet Spout

My faucet is leaking and I was able to remove the cartridge but I was unable to remove the spout to replace the O-rings. I tried to lift the spout while twisting the spout back and forth but nothing happened. I then tried to pry it up with a screwdriver but the sput wouldn't budge. Any suggestions?

Without knowing which faucet it is it is hard to say for sure. It is likely just scaled up and you need to try a little harder. Try to spray a delimer on the spout (make sure it will not hurt the finish) and then use a large handle puller.

    Good luck-Mark
