    hi
    has anyone ever used or know of any experieces with a powerflush
    tank for the basement how good they work and how well do they hold
    up.i was thinking of buying one made by star water systems sold at
    lowes.

    i am not aware of this brand, but i did look it up and it looks identical to other brands. are you going to be running other fixtures into this system? if so you might want to look at an inground system.

    a sink is no problem. a shower or tub would have to be elevated. and of course the toilet is also elevated with this system.

    an in ground system is more involved to install, but a better system and has a larger storage capacity which means less pumping cycles. if it's only the toilet and sink, and you don't mind an elevated toilet, then ok. with a shower and tub, i would install the inground pump.

    look at the "zoller pump" system. i believe they also make the basement system you're looking at along with the inground unit.
