How about it has anyone used a 458 R to do double flares? I read about one guy doing stainless steel fuel injector lines, iI would be led to believe that these would almost have to be double flare, I just ordered a 458 R with the hopes of doing Brakelines with it.
To do double flares you would need "double lap adaptors". I have these for my #345 flaring tool, but am not sure wether they are available with the #458R.
I agree. You need to contact the Ridgid technical department, because my flaring tool (#345) is only rated for soft copper, etc. You would need the #458R for your application. Call the Ridgid tech support department. They are usually helpfull.
