Anyone seen those plastic barrel mixers for concrete?

The type you roll across the ground to mix. It's a barrel about 32 gal size with a wide mouth screw-on lid. You load it up with your mix and some water and roll it across the ground to mix. It's meant for small batches like fence posts and such.

I searched the 'net but didn't uncover anything.

Mixes up to 60 lb of concrete mix or mortar in about two minutes. Add water and dry mix, then roll it on the ground. Internal baffles churn the mix and in a couple of minutes it is ready to pour. Measures 18" x 12" in diameter.

Never even seen it anywhere, I'll stick to my real mixer, touch of a button type. Less work when dealing with cement, the better off a man is.

I met the inventor of this product and i have 3 of these things. It is the best way to mix concrete from a bag. Forget the bucket thing. It is bulky and does not mix as well as the Crete Sheet.

We were vendors together at the World of Concrete in Vegas last year. Really nice guy!

I bought one and was not pleased with the result.
I probably put the mix in first before the water, but it wouldn't mix. Maybe it would have worked if I would not have put in only part of the mix and then part of the water. Or possibly used a smaller amount. Maybe the water first would work better.

I met the inventor of this product and i have 3 of these things. It is the best way to mix concrete from a bag. Forget the bucket thing. It is bulky and does not mix as well as the Crete Sheet.

OK, your comments are confusing me. First you say it is the best way to mix concrete from a bag, then you say the Crete Sheet is better. Which is it? I have seen the Crete Sheet and know how it works.

What don't you get?

Using the Crete Sheet is the best way to mix concrete from a bag.

1. Open the bag
2. Dump the concrete from the bag onto the Crete Sheet
3. Add proper amount of water
4. Mix accordingly
5. Pour mix as needed

Maybe I should be asking as to the inventor of which product, the OddJob or the Crete Sheet, because the statement above makes me think you are talking about the OddJob.
