  • interior french drain will damage the structure?

Thinking about install drain tile inside the basement around the perimeter and a sum pit. it will damage the structure of the house? The house was built in 1950 with pour concrete wall and floor.

The concrete wall sites on top of the floor, I think. If I cut the floor, that small section of floor is still strong enough?

If it is ok to cut, which tool you think is better, the concrete saw or jackhammer?

    thanks,

Concrete walls will never sit on top of concrete floors. For you to ask these question suggests you are in over your head. Call a professional.
