Has anyone used a product called Lead Loc? It is a polymerized "paint" that they guarantee will prevent lead positive testing on walls and trim for 50 years. It is very thick, similar in thickness to the Porter Paints product, I forget the name, that is recommended for use on old palster walls to cover up small cracks. It is pliable and is supposed to have incredible adhesion. I'm thinking about purchasing a house that has some lead issues, we are thinking about using this on the walls, then having it tested to see how it fares. The back-up plan is to cover the plaster walls with 1/4 drywall to encapsulate the old walls. Any info on the lead block paints will be appreciated.
