  • Ladders Made in the USA

Since Louisville and Werner are no longer made in the US I was looking to see if anyone still made a ladder here and I came across Sunset Ladders in Los Angeles area.

Anyone have any of their products and what do you think of them. I'm looking to get a 10 foot fiberglass platform ladder.

I looked at the link you provided but didn't see where they said that their ladders were made in the USA. Did I just miss it? I did notice that when I clicked on the "shipping info" prompt that warehouses for Louisville and Werner were listed.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the "John" and renamed it the "Jim". I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I remember when "Wing/Little Giant" ladders were made in USA...
Today I believe some of their models are made in Asia....china I think!!!

When I purchased my little giant 21 foot ladder it was stamped right in the aluminum
      "made in USA"

By the way: Recall Details: Possible fall hazard

      Description:
This recall involves Little Giant Velocity?, LT? and Liberty? multipurpose ladders. The ladders have joints that allow it to bend and lock in various positions. ?Little Giant,? the model name, model number and part number are printed on the side of the ladder.

This was reported around March 17, 2017

Yeah, that was my concern too. I don't think you missed it, I don't think it's there to be found. When I searched for ladders made in the US I got a link to their site. Reading their 'About Us' and the company history they definitely did make ladders here years ago. But I also could not find anything that made me believe that today's ladders are made here. I also looked at their catalog and no where did it state the ladders were made here. It didn't give a hint as to where they were manufactured.

I see that they carry Little Giant and other make ladders now. Louisville and Werner have both been made in Mexico for a number of years.

Here is a list from "Little giant Ladders" that ARE made in USA.
No explanation why they have started to have their other models made in china

Thank you for contacting Little Giant Ladder Systems. Several of our ladders are still made here in the USA, but many of them are now made in China. I have included a list of the ladders which are still manufactured locally. You can find specifications for all of our ladders, including country of origin, by visiting https://littlegiantladders.com/ladders/. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you in.

Green Bull ladders were bought by Werner in 2008, but they claim that a majority of their products are still made in the USA. Louisville, Kentucky to be exact.

Heavy duty ladders for commercial and Industrial uses. Type I and Ia ratings for use on jobsites.

Google Green Bull Ladders to reach their site.
