Just to clarify I think she is talking about adding text overlay in a seesnake camera. I still need to get a monitor to try this out. Is it done from the real or the monitor? Sorry I should know this... Never read about it on here though..

      Zeljka,

You need to have a text generator on the backside of the SeeSnake cage.

        Rob says Hi Mark,

        What is a seesnake cage?

What text generator? Do I already have it?

I was playing with it yesterday and kinda messed things up...I have 3 buttons on the reel and bunch of buttons on the monitor?

The three buttons are the generator but you will need to have the instructions to be able to figure out how to do it.

Although time consuming, it is done via the Count IR on the side of the reel at the hub. Once you do it a few times it gets easier. Wish I had the manual handy. Once you access the menu there will be a page that is for titling.

Re: programming job location and company name

trying to generate a new name for every job is a pita without an actual keyboard, text generator/ screen writer. i know i looked into this before the seesnake had it built in. it's just an rca in and out.

the 3 buttons on the seesnake are fine for the everyday company name and phone #. trying to edit it everytime will take a few minutes if you're real good. much more if you're slow.

i would get a screen writer if you can find one. much more user friendly.

I simply state the customer name , job location etc. in the beginning and end of every video/DVD recording. I have my company info already loaded .
