  • B&W camera w/ color moniter

Can you mix the two? Obviously the screen won't be color but would it work?

i don't see why it wouldn't. the video signal just won't have burst or color. kinda like watching a B&W show on a plasma TV.

    this is a NTSC format?

Yes, it will work. As "stxrus" pointed out, it will obviously not be a color image but the video image will be displayed (b/w). The ports are exactly the same for color and black & white reels so there is nothing limiting you from connecting them to a mismatched monitor.

It does work; I do it. I have a bw camera head, with the red light, that I use with the color video toolcase for small lines as it is smaller diameter than the color. I can get it and a 1/8 jetter hose through a couple bends in 1 1/2". nice for the stubborn back-to-back sinks.
