  • Purchasing Scout or Navitrach 2?

Gentlemen, I purchased a see snake color, d.v.d., 200' , self leveling w/ built in transmitter. My business cleans out, excavates , and lays in replacement sewer and water lines. I want to be able to locate the damage in lines prior to excavating. What is the practical difference between the two units? Can I energize a buried water line between the curb stop or hydrant and an external house spiggot?

you'll need a transmitter to locate water , gas lines. the scout is great for sewer locates and basic tracing. the navitrak is a step up and the seektech is the top of the line for utility locating.
