Is that a thumb set screw sticking out of the top?

That's what it looks like to me Highland. I really don't know what it is.

      It's in MY DUCT!

How those ME 's work? Never used one.

Does it record the pictures on a sd card or hook up to the seesnake monitors?

Read a thread on it about it not going around commode trap, has that changed or anyone come up with a solution for that?

Looks like a steel kit-kat bar with a screw in it.

          Can't make it out.

It has an internal memory that will hold 50+ pictures or a movie of so many seconds.

And SD card slot is built in. Ridgid will send you a 2GB card as an incentive to register. It will hold about 27,000 pics or you make a movie a few minutes. (Maybe longer, can't remember).

With the volume you can get on a card it's obvious that the pics aren't high res like in some digital cameras. But I don't think it needs to be either.

This pic is from the internal memory.

                Yeah it looks great.

Makes me wonder why they don't make the seesnake monitor with a built in hard drive and usb or removable storage.

At almost $4g's for the vhs monitor, they will probably ask $6g's for a monitor with built in hard drive and usb port or removable storage.

I honestly think that is coming. The moderator here is in charge of the Seesnake line now and from what others have said that know & have met him, he'll probably look to update & improve the product wherever he can.

Heck everybody knows thats a duct strecher, better not take it out or the duct will shrink and fall out.

It kind of looks like a vacuum attachment, floor sweeper, or a drywall sander to me.

I'm gonna' rig something up to see if I can get it. It's about 4' in from the floor.

By the way, if you live in an older house you're ducts can get full of crap you never even knew about. Been vacuuming them out.

It looks like it's defying gravity.

Something holding it up downstream, or is it "t" shaped down further maybe.

Maybe it's perspective. Can't tell whats up or down.

Re: What's this in the duct?

The duct is horizontal. So the perspective is if your standing and it's eyelevel with you.

The "Thing" is sitting on the bottom of the horizontal duct.

Which sewer camera do you use? How long have you had it? Any repairs? Locator?

                          Thanks.

Right, I realize it's on the bottom of the pipe, I explained that wrong. It just appears to be standing up at the bottom of the pipe.

200 ft color, vhs, seesnake plus, only two weeks old, still an infant. My first camera since I've been in business but not new to camera.

I worked with seesnakes for 8 years when I worked for other companies.
