What is the sequence of buttons to gain access to the QWERTY keyboard?

It's not in the manual and I can never seem to find it when I'm using it.

I'm picking up a retractable USB cord it to reduce the tangle of wires in my box.

Do I need a USB to "mini B" 4 pin male? or USB to "mini B" 5 pin male?

To use the the charger with a 12 volt adapter what exactly do I need? I assume I can get that at any electronic store.

What is the part number for the audio expansion and is it available yet?

For the keyboard, you just press the large control button in the center, then scroll down to the bottom of the selections. Should show abc (I think, it's in the truck.) Press the center again to select it and away you go.

After you've put your text in, just hit the reverse arrow button on the left and it will ask you if you want to save this text to this file.

    Audio recorder thingy. Part#30073.

This doesn't work. For some reason I can't find the keyboard on my Explorer. I just updated the thing (again) I have VER 2.30

The README text says I should get a message: "Updating Ram Drive" but I don't get that message. So I never get the followup messages about loading firmware

Ok I went upstairs and refilled my glass of wine. Tried updating again but this time WITHOUT the SD card installed.

        Worked perfectly.

        I now have a keyboard!!

It would be neat if they had it where you could plug in a keyboard into the usb port. Can use one of these indestructible waterproof keyboards.
