    i have a SR-20 locator that stopped picking up signal on live burried cables does anyone know if this is covered by warranty or if theirs a fix for this . unit is only 2 yrs old .

    Make sure the issue isn't with your transmitter by connecting the two transmitter leads directly to one another and see if you can pick up a signal with the receiver.

    If you are passively locating a 60Hz power line, you need to make sure that current is flowing through the line. No current = no signal, even if the line is active.

    If your testing reveals that the receiver doesn't seem to be picking up a signal, I suggest contacting RIDGID customer support to discuss warranty and service options.
