  • B/W or color?

Just acquired a used B/W plus reel with CRT monitor. Seller said that the camera head was brand-new and it sure does look new. I was told that they no longer make black-and-white camera heads. Is there a way to tell whether or not I have a black and white camera head or color Head without having a color monitor? Do the black-and-white heads have a different number of LED lights? Thanks to all for any help you can offer.

If I recall AJ Colemane rebuilds the B&W heads. Also it's any easy upgrade to a color head since its just a swap out. Or at least it used to be a swap out of heads. There is a post on another forum where a guy said if he wated to go color, they would have to reterm the pushrod. I have not had a chance to to talk to Marv about that. If that is the case I wonder what did they change.
