  • Looking for a Camera/Locator

I was looking to purchase a Camera/Locator system. I was wondering which one is the best value at a decent price? Any feed back?

Anything by Ridgid. I'd find whatever seesnake/monitor combo that fits your needs and budget. I just purchased a seesnake plus 200' self leveling, cs 1000 monitor, and navitrak 2. Best camera set up I've ever used hands down.

Ridgid only. My seesnake compact and locator paid for themselves in less than a year. Now they are money in the bank.

            Ridgid.

If you can't get the $, then vu-rite/easy cam may be worth checking out. They are not on the same level as Ridgid but not compete crap either.

I also purchase a Ridgid camera and locator 2 years ago. Two years after the purchase it started to give me problems. I took it twice to the repair center, they couldn't find the problem. Now they are telling me that I need to pay $1100 to repair, warranty won't cover (normal wear)????? My seesnake is not in constant used and it only lasted 2 years.

I have a Ridgid SeeSnake monitor I came across, just don't have the reel. Let me know if you're interested.
