dis-continued Micro Explorer?

I was looking for a new battery for my Micro Explorer and was shocked that I couldnt find the # on the rigid site - after some looking around, I found it under the discontinued items - Why was it dis-continued? It has served me well since I got it a couple of years ago. Just curios.

Anyway, the dis-continued page has the cat# as 30198 microEXPLORER® Digital Inspection Camera - RIDGID Professional Tools, but I cant find the battery. The 37083 keeps comming up - Does anyone know if this will that work?

Yes, the 37083 is the replacement for the 30198 and it will work in your microExplorer.

The Explorer was only discontinued because the newer CA-300 was launched.

Are there any major improvements from the micro explorer to the ca-300? I can't seem to find any listed.
