At least you guys have this one over there. Your poor cousins downunder are still waiting with baited breath. Hey I know, bring the roundup downunder and we can have a Video competition. Then again wouldn't it be a great time to release to our market. C'mon Rick, convince them for us.

I'm considering the RM200. Does it realy have what it takes for 4"-6"? I've had a VU-Rite and it did what it needed, then I got another camera that I paid 4500 for that has not worked since I got it. Wasted my money on it and I'm tired of eating my money. About to shell out the dough for Ridgid and be done with it.

If most of your work is for 4-6...why not just go with the full size one?
                  Buy cheap, buy twice.

Get the full size 200' SeeSnake Plus. You should have bought one of the new units I was selling for $4500.00.

You get your money back on the other one ? Which one was it ?

One reel will NOT do it all. Get the full size & the microDrain.

Wanna play gotta pay. You know first hand that trying to save a few bucks on sewer/drain video systems doesn't pan out.

Hate to say but he's right on with this. A full size and D65s is what you need

                                Not so quick.

I haven't pulled my full size seesnake out of my truck in over a year. My micro drain and micro reel also sits idle.

While I only run about a 30-40' run in 6" pipe. That's just because the lateral is typically only 6" from the sidewalk out to the middle of the street. but yes, it will push much farther in 6" if needed.

With a 1" diameter head and a short body, the self leveling color camera has been my go to camera for the last few months. Even before the rm200, my seesnake mini was my go to camera. It just that the rm200 has several more advantages than my mini now.

I would seriously get a demo on a 6" line and put it heads up against the full size seesnake. Just make sure you have a full set of centering guides so that the 1" head is off the bottom of the pipe.

Sure in the past when I was doing a lot of storm drains in long runs with large bore pipe, I would use my full size seesnake, but now the vast majority of my work is in lines from 2"- 6". I get the occasional 1.5", but not as much as 2".

Get a demo before you decide against what I feel is the best all around camera out there. 3 months ago that went to the seesnake mini, now it goes to the rm200. It's the k-60 of cameras.

                                Rick.
