  • B & W vs. Color

so what is the real differance in b&w and color? just about everyone i talk to says b&w is just as good and cheeper. do you really need color or is it a selling point to your customers?

    Thanks, Jerad

    Hello Jerad:

The black and white cameras do have excellent resolution and clarity. Another point is that they can be smaller in size as well.

The benefits of color allow you to see differences in the color of a pipe. For instance corrosion and changes to the pipe material are easier to see if there is a change in color.

B/W is an excellent camera if you need to get into smaller lines but many prefer a color image especially if they are recording to show potential customers. Most people expect to see things in color and it helps to see what is going on in the pipe.

Hope this helps. Have a look at both to see what fits your needs the best.
