  • Need some of blade holders

The blade holder in the left picture is what I'm looking for. This is for the 7/8" sectional cable. Ridgid doesn't sell these holders seperately so if you know where I can get some please let me know. Also willing to buy your old worn out blades as the holder is all I'm interested in. PM me with details.

Type in "draincables direct" to google and there's a company that sell an adapter for what looks like spartan style blades but it's not what I'm looking for. Maybe this will help you.

ben the complete blade and holder is $30.00 just bought a 3'' one for the k-60.

is that a 4'' x 3'' offset blade in your hand?

          man are you smart

where did you come up with that idea

good luck. the blade is a separate part# but not the blade holder. once you have a few, then you don't need to swap blades, just the assy.

These strokes of genius usually happen after I get off the phone with a plumber in California. I just don't want to buy a whole blade when I just need the assembly. Somewhere out there is a blade holder assembly for me.

problem with this is you need to attach the blade to the adapter , then to the cable.
this creates a large non flexible front end. but it also allows for regular blades with round holes and not the ridgid rectangular holes.

if you try it, let us know.

Re: Need some of blade holders

all clear, are you telling me you can carry a k-7500, 272# drum machine (w 100' 3/4 inner core) up a flight of stairs faster than i can carry a k-60, 41# machine with 105' of 7/8'' sectional 62# with carrier.

now what's going to happen when you find out that there are a combination of 1.5'', 2'' , 3'' and 4'' vents up there?

how about the basement with no elevator, same scenario.

my machine will run 5/8'' and 7/8''. that will cover me for 1.5''- 4''. and i have done 6'' too with the 7/8''. how are you going to clean a 1.5'' or 2'' line with that machine?

remember i own multiples of both machines and have used them first hand.

all you have to go on is your k-7500 and you have never used a k-60.

i would say the advantage is in my court.

now if you think you can still whoop me you will be in for a surprise.

i say we take a poll on it.

josh will set up a real life scenario of drains from basement to roof top. inside and outside. everything from a 25' to 150' run. 1.5'' - 6''

no help, and no elevators, just stairs and a ladder.

                              i hope you're in shape
