so why would you even think you could use a 5/16'' cable with a 2'' cutter. you might as well use it with 4'' cutters and cut roots so you don't have to run your 7500

i wouldn't ever think of snaking anything bigger than a 2'' line with a 5/16'' cable. and i certanly would never ever attach a 2'' cutter to a 5/16'' cable.

that's what you said you do even your spartan book only shows 1'' cutter max.

Actually most of us sectional guys are independently wealthy and do not have to work.

Rick I looked and I looked and I just cant find where I said I would use a 2" cutter on my 5/16. The only thing I found is where I said I could
I would use my 1/2 cable machine on 2" anyway

                    Rick,

Just try to remember healthy competition can only go so far. This is a pretty diverse group with a lot of passion for what they do. It was not too long ago you and I were having this same debate. I'm glad you finally gave sectionals a try. If Ridgid is smart they will have a selection of both drum and sectional machines at the Roundup for a little test drive.

they will. but the sectionals will be closely guarded so all clear will not drive off with one

now if he submits a video, he might win one with the prize money. $2500 will buy you a killer k-60 with all the cables and cutters you could ever use.

i know deep down, he really wants a k-60 but it will kill him to give in. he had the same feelings for a jetter a year ago.

time will tell. mark my words

The way I read your post, you posted you have a 5/16" X 50' cable which you can screw a 2" cutter on to.
