  • Waiver of Release

Do any of you have your customers sign one before you do work? One plumber I have done work for, when he used to do clean main drains, was have his customers sign one BEFORE doing work. I see plumbers/drain cleaners on here have customers sign one AFTER, but never hear about it before.

Wouldn't it be a good practice to do it beforehand? If you encounter a broken line after you snake the drain and then want the customer to sign a waiver, they will be be pretty upset and not willing to sign the waiver (since they are going to have to pay a few thousand to fix the problem). - The Trusted Online Community For Homeowners and Contractors.
