I have an older k50, is there anyway to tell how old by the serial number or another method?
Not sure on the age of mine but I've had it 15+ years and it was old when I got it. Serial numbers were intentionaly scraped off when I bought it. Pretty sure it was upgraded from manual crank to electric motor during the roaring thirties. Been rebuilt several times since then. Was looking for a reason to toss it out and upgrade but the damn thing just won't die. Built like a tank and just as loud.
