This would keep the plumber from having 2' + of cable exposed when he is reaching in the cabinet to feed the cable and make it more like going into a floor clean out and lessen the chance of getting tied up in the cable. Just a thought!!
Mike, can you draw a picture of this? Hinged platform on a 45?

That was a perfect pick-me-up after a really horrible day

I do like the idea of a front guide hose on the big drum machines.

We can't get the big drum machines through these tiny English basement bathroom doorways. So we have to use a K1500 to get close to the closet bend. Then it gets crowded. Sewage splatters all over the floors and walls. I'm sick of it.

I would much rather have a drum machine sitting outside the bathroom with a safe clean guide hose off the front.

      No fuss no muss

As for the smaller drum machines I've never had an auto feed on mine. There may be a need for it I don't know but for me I like the control I get by pushing the cable in by hand. Yeah it's a pain sometimes reaching under vanity and kitchen cabinets. It might help keep the mess down to a minimum.

            Do you use one?

If your machine came with a front guide hose, would you use it?

            Anyother feedback will be appreciated!

            Thanks Again

Hey Bill, What I was trying to say and what I wanted to say i kind of even confused my self Here is a quick and bad drawing of what I was trying to get across. It is a lot like the master blaster but with a flexible hose to connect to the trap adapter and long enough to have room to feed in the cable.

                    mike, i got the picture

                    don't quit your day job

actually you have the right idea with the bracket assy.

don't think you need the hinge plate unless you're using it for a way of getting the k-60 to sit on a 45 vertical.

also the trap adapter is interesting, but usually you just insert the guide hose into the line.

                    rick.
