  • Trap clog

I found a bunch of long straws in a kitchen sink trap.

Thought you would find this funny.

The only thing I ever found like that was when I snaked a line in a resturant. I found forks, spoons, straws that actually passed through the garbage disposal.

I've had a lot of straws, just not all at once.

That’s funny she said she usually washer them and reuses them.

there are 2 bars here that i regularly clean their sinks. the "stuff" i've retrieved is just scarry. straws, swizzles, metal scrubbies, fruit rinds and pieces, napkins, broken glass shards, etc. some pretty nasty stuff.

Bar floor sinks are my favorites... I always get a handful of change out of them. I once got over $8 in change out of one single bar drain.

Reminds me of the guy whos toilet backed up
called me to take care of it
He had been flushing dental floss down the toilet for years
was strung all through his pipes
I couldnt believe how long he had been doing it before it caused a problem

i've cleaned many a urinal lines before-sometimes having to pull the urinal, sometimes having to pull a p-trap-no big deal-but the worst was having to pull the p-trap on a urinal full of urine, skoal, and mmm hmmm at the nastiest strip club I've ever seen. Bottom of the trap was just touching the floor, no way to bucket it. I could never get the shop vac clean enuf after removing the "liquid" in that urinal. Big ol' metal urinal too, almost like a troff. Yeah that took me a while and I charged by the minute. Doubled the latex gloves, threw the leather gloves away when I was done, got the line clean-that was a good thing. Power washed the equipment and tools I used-the smell still lingered for a while anyway. I go to the funeral homes occasionally and get to clean the lines in the.....prep rooms. Get to go the upper parts of the hospital and clean lines and witness some crazy stuff but that strip club urinal will always be something I wish I could forget. What's worse is they immediately escorted me out the building after I got paid and my ticket signed. I mean it's not like I was gonna hang out and watch or anything. I was thirsty and they had sodas at the bar. Jerks!

The sodas at the strip club keep me coming back as well. Glad to see I wasn't the only one.

Ain't it fun? I feel like tony soprano sometimes. I come home to my wife and she's none the wiser about what I deal with. I prefer to keep it that way. I think sometimes she wants to more. She'll say "Bad job?" I usually reply "sorta". At which point I take a 30 minute shower.
The conversation never goes into specifics. It's kinda like going to war, so I'm told, ya just have to leave it all behind and not bring it home with you.

Yeah, I should've kept that one to myself but no, no, I had to relay it to the girl I was engaged to. She didn't care for my choice of professions as it was, then I rattled off about the strip club. I had to blow it out of proportion too. Told her I cashed my check that day and all the bank had were singles. She didn't buy it. Also told her I had to go back once a week for a month at least to treat the line. Wrong again! Then all the talk about the club got her wondering if I ever got come onto by women in their homes. I might of spouted off a couple of instances, I can't remember, it's all a blur now. I will say that weekend was very quiet and relaxing but the house had a certain chill to it. Hmm! The relationship was on its way downhill long before that.....I think.
