  • My Apologies

I would like to apologize to the forum for my roll in creating the monster which Plumber Rick has become. When I first arrived at this site 3-years ago Rick was a humble, shy, timid drum guy. He had operated as a drum guy for almost 30-years and was content to limit his skills to just drum machines. Then I posted this:

I was not sure Rick gave my post any thought but then in early 2006 I noticed this thread:

    http://www.ridgidforum.com/forum/sho...ight=sectional

Yes it appeared Rick had purchased a K-60sp. However based on this post a month later I got the impression he was not ready to try sectional yet:

Then we see this slight admission and slow transition:

Finally it seemed it was getting more enthusiastic:

The rest of course is history and I don't need to tell anyone how Rick loves his K-60. I do feel Rick has gone way overboard in making it his only machine but once he publishes his new book "101 Drains My Impressinator Cleaned" I believe he will start to clean some of the dust from his drum machines and put them back on the truck.

Amazing reading these old threads how far ahead Dog saw things. I wish he was still here. You think he's teaching angels how to plumb?

No apologies are needed,I think. Now I don't believe Rick has ever been Shy or Timid. Many people enjoy reading his posts,so hats off to you.Personally while I like most people in the trades,If they use the mighty K series-------1500,50 and 60----So much the better.

Yep, but I bet we use different fingers to tell him so.

A couple of things about those links....

who is this imported_PLUMBER RICK? he seems way cooler than our Rick

Did I read in there that Rick doesn't own a k-1500?

                  It's all Mark's fault!!!

mark is correct. a sectional machine does take longer to use

I guess put me in for the first case of K-60 chocolate candy bars, with realistic corn kernels.

You're taking advantage of me and my low blood sugar though.

You can't defame the spokesperson, it's in the K-60 owner's manual page 16 section C.
