No, some big non-franchise company I never heard of. If anyone asks about them though, I will tell this story.

        carl, good job

        but a couple of questions

why the drop head bulb auger. and not just the bulb auger?

i never use a drop head unless it's necessary as they have a tendency to break off

don't you carry any 5/8'' for the k-60

yes the 5/8'' would have been the bomb

you already know the safety factor with the sectional. especially with only a few feet out.

        rick.

i would have taken them up on a root beer or dr. pepper
        phoebe it is

I prefer a drum for small jobs (3" and less). You are right about the drop-head, I should have used a regular bulb-auger.

Cheers to you serviceguy. Gotta love it when things work out that way.

Do you guys prefer the metal pipe for looks/wear & tear/fire code?? Commercial kitchens up here need to be in metal because of the National/Territorial fire code.

I've been thinking, how could a (ss?) scrub pad could get down the drain. Employee sabitage??

fire code, and high water temperatures of commercial dishwashers.

The dishwasher drain-pit cover was off. I warned the manager to keep it closed and scream at the cleaning crew for sweeping garbage down it...or I'll be back shortly.

Here they require a holding/cooling tank device on any high temperature water before it goes into PVC. I can't remember who makes them or I'd link it up.

Other than that, why not PVC?

                    Thanks,

                    J.C.

Almost forgot, great job Carl. Doesn't matter what machine you used as long as you got things done right. Keep up the good work. You'll get busier and busier.

You weren't with me face down in a 2x2x2foot deep hole replacing the smelliest three inch cast iron trap last Friday. The "metal" crumbled between my fingers like a wet potato chip.
